Day 4 in Guangzhou and the Tooth Fairy

Guess who lost his 1st tooth and will get a visit from the tooth fairy tonight?! Oh yeah, this kid! Of course there is no tooth to put under the pillow because we have no idea when he lost it today. When I found out he had lost it I asked where he thought his tooth was and he said he doesn't know but it's ok because he doesn't want the tooth fairy to come. See, one of the dad's here told Joseph that in China it isn't the tooth fairy that comes it's the tooth dragon. So apparently that stuck and he was totally freaked out by the idea a dragon would come into his room in the middle of the night! He even said to me, "I don't like dragons"!
This morning started off great. Matthew woke up smiling and even played with Joseph for a bit.
He was having so much fun I decided to take the day to go shopping with some friends and leave the boys behind. Matthew fell right into Daddy's arms!
And Joseph and Matthew got to play more.

When I got home we discussed the lone loose tooth and Joseph asked Ronnie to pull it out!
But he couldn't do it!
Just before dinner we had our group pictures. The kids all wear their traditional silks. Unfortunately, Matthew was getting a little fussy by this point of the day.
But he looked so handsome!

This is our travel group, Group 2034 with CCAI. This picture is traditionally taken on the stairwell in the lobby of the hotel but there is some big government official staying here tonight so security is crazy and there are a ton of people in the lobby, including metal detectors and tons of police. So we opted for pictures outside in the garden area.
Here we were trying to take a picture of all of the kids adopted into their forever families on this trip!
Here they are! The kids of 2034! Matthew was not having fun lol Charlotte, our friends Carla and Logan's daughter, stole the show!
After pictures we came back to the room to wait for Ronnie and Joseph to pick up dinner. We decided to have a dinner at the playground with some friends. Before they came back though we had some fun here in the room! We even played some peek-a-boo with the door!

We made it the entire day without poop! Hoping the medicine is kicking in. Although we aren't buying that no poop is a good thing yet ;) Tomorrow we will have more answers. We have Matthew's appointment at the US Consulate tomorrow morning and nothing afterward so it should be a nice, relaxing last full day in China!
