We made it to Zhengzhou...tomorrow we meet Matthew!!

After all of that delay we finally made it to Zhengzhou!

Another favorite sign...in case you were blinded by the outside scenery and sunshine...this is in fact the way out of the airport :)

We met our guides, Yisha and Viviene at the airport and they brought us to our hotel.

The smog there today was just as bad, if not worse, than in Beijing.

Here we are!! Home sweet home for the next week.

After we got settled in we headed with our group to Walmart. Yeah, the sign was the same but the inside was drastically different!

They had so many sample stations it felt more like costco than Walmart.
They had cart movers like IKEA.
And this section looked relatively the same.
This section did not.
On our way from the Zhengzhou airport to our hotel here our guides handed out new info on each of our kids. Here is Matthew's update...

So when we went to Walmart we picked up some of the foods in Matthew's regular diet. Formula, rice cereal, bottled water and veggie crackers along with some snickers and skittles for us :) The thing I love most about his newest update is the line that reads, "Give him snacks when he cries or is fussy" ...eating as a comfort measure. Oh yes, he's gonna fit right in to this family!!!

Alright, I have to get to bed. We meet at 930am tomorrow to go get our kids! We just know God has been preparing Matthew, his foster mama and Baba's hearts for this day and will provide the comfort and peace that they need during this transition but if you could continue to pray with us for them as they are both about to endure such a major loss.

We cannot wait to hold this child in our arms! Next time we post will be with pictures of Gotcha!!
