Welcome to our new adoption travel blog! We hope to update this blog while on our trip so that we can share our experiences with everyone back home.
Today we received our final travel itinerary. Here are the basics...
Day 1- Arrive in Beijing
Day 2- Tour Beijing. We get to go to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Hutong Tour.
Day 3- Tour Beijing. This is the day we go to the Great Wall.
Day 4- Leave Beijing for Zhengzhou
Day 5- GOTCHA day!! (while you sleep on Sunday night we will be meeting Matthew!)
Day 6- Complete adoption. (when we will finalize his adoption)
Day 7- Travel to Taikang to apply for Matthew's passport
Day 8- Free day (waiting additional documents)
Day 9- Free day (waiting more additional documents)
Day 10- Leave Zhengzhou for Guangzhou
Day 11- Preparation for our Consulate Appt
Day 12- Medical examination for Matthew
Day 13- Free day
Day 14- US Consulate Appointment day
Day 15- Pick up Matthew's Visa. Depart Guangzhou for USA!
